Here’s an exciting project that we haven’t really seen much of yet. Hell is Us, developed by Rogue Factor, had yet to reveal much about itself. From the looks of tonight’s gameplay trailer revealed during State of Play, this action-adventure title will involve us in mysteries and other paranormal activities, set in a strange country ravaged by civil war.
Hell on Earth
There’s a strong post-apocalyptic vibe in Hell is Us, and with good reason: it’s a complete mess in this fictional country, where the few souls who live there are mostly armed. But this doesn’t scare the main character, who is determined to explore the area and discover its mysteries.
Mysteries and above all, dangers. A disturbing force has also taken over the place, in the form of disjointed, hostile humanoid creatures. The trailer portrays these deserted environments very well, and shows us plenty of the enemies our hero will encounter.
With his sword and a drone to help him in battle, he’ll have to survive and solve the game’s various puzzles. Yes, apart from combat, Nacon’s title will feature an exploration and reflection dimension with no markers, to involve players fully in their universe.
Hell is Us is scheduled for release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series in 2025, with no further details yet.
