Turok Origins

Turok has been a long time coming. Not counting the recent remasters of the first two titles, the license hasn’t given any sign of life since 2008 with the disappointing Turok. So, Saber Interactive comes along and announces Turok: Origins at the Game Awards, with a promising first trailer.

In Turok: Origins, you’ll be playing as the legendary warrior Turok once again, in his quest to battle not only fierce dinosaurs, but also an alien menace seeking to wipe out all human life in the galaxy. As shown in the trailer, Turok will be able to defend himself with a plasma rifle, ray gun, bow, sniper rifle, and shotgun. Of course, our warrior will also be able to use hand-to-hand combat, as well as various special skills that he will unlock as he progresses.

Turok can also unlock DNA powers. By scanning fallen enemies, you’ll be able to extract their DNA and unlock new powers to better master the levels, which will take you through swamps, ancient temples, desert jungles, and canyons. In addition, this co-op title promises an epic story with our fearless Turok. With Saber Interactive and the successful Warhammer 40.000: Space Marine 2, it’s safe to say that the franchise is in good hands.

For the time being, Turok: Origins has no release date scheduled, but we have no doubt that it will be coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
