There are plenty of projects coming from the NCSoft. Better known for massively multiplayer games than narrative experiences, the Korean giant still has everything to prove in the field of single-player adventure games, which is why it’s taking its time with Project M, an ambitious title that has already shown off some beautiful images. The game was also present at G-Star 2023, which showcases the future Korean releases to come.
Still No Release Date for the Game
A short trailer was released at the show, once again displaying the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5. As always, Project M highlights its QTEs like a Quantic Dream game, with branches (sometimes literal) that will alter your adventure. This trailer also gives a better idea of the gameplay, which bears a strong similarity to Resident Evil, especially via the mini-interface in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. There are many influences surrounding the title, but it still remains quite mysterious.
Project M still has no definitive title, nor a release date. All we know is that it will one day arrive on PC and consoles (which ones, go figure).
