One of the problems that became popular among PlayStation 5 users in the last two weeks was the inability to download games or accessories on the device due to a very annoying problem with a catastrophic solution. The solution we are talking about is to format the device and delete everything in it but recently an official solution has been shared that may help you.

In case you get a “Queued for Download” error or you get an error message every time you start downloading a game, the PlayStation Support account shared this solution on Twitter. All you have to do is to enter Safe-Mode. To do this, follow the following steps:

  1. Turn off your device by pressing the power button. The power indicator will flash for a few moments before turning off.
  2. Once the device is off, press and hold the power button again. Release the button after hearing the second sound signal, the sound of the first signal will sound when you press at the beginning, and the second after seven seconds.
  3. Connect the controller by USB cable and press the PS button on the console.

After that, your device will enter Safe Mode and press the fifth option “Rebuild Database”. When you do this option, the system will scan the drive and create a new database of all the contents on the system, without losing your progress and of course your saved files.

According to the official support account, this method will solve for you the problem of not being able to download games on PlayStation 5. Have you had this problem? Tell us the comments below!
